Here is one of my mother’s favorite statements about prayer:
SOME PRAYER: SOME POWER.
MORE PRAYER: MORE POWER.
MUCH PRAYER: MUCH POWER.
The question each of us must ask is this: how much power do I want from God? YOUR ANSWER is probably very simple: lots. Yet we have as much or as little of God’s power RIGHT NOW as we are willing to pray to receive.
A prayer-less Christian is a powerless Christian.
But a prayerful Christian can accomplish ANYTHING—even change the course of a nation.
